The Royal Society of Sculptors joins our 21 leading organizations in a commitment to sustainability and carbon reduction.

Participating in South Ken ZEN+ has allowed the Royal Society of Sculptors to make notable strides in reducing their emissions. As a small charity with limited resources, they face challenges in implementing long-term strategic initiatives. However, their involvement in South Ken ZEN+ has fast-tracked their sustainability efforts by utilizing shared methodologies and drawing on collective expertise.

Engaging with all South Ken ZEN+ workstreams has provided the Royal Society of Sculptors with valuable insights and enhanced their internal knowledge. This collaboration has led to the creation of their first carbon emissions baseline this year, laying the groundwork for strategic actions aimed at achieving net zero by 2040.  Caroline Worthington, Director of the Royal Society of Sculptors, said,

“As one of the smallest organisations participating in South Ken ZEN+, we have undoubtedly benefitted from the expertise among our peers as well as encouragement from the project team.”
