The Royal Albert Hall has embraced sustainability through its unique rooftop beekeeping project, aiming to protect and support local biodiversity.

Launched in 2023, the project introduces four honeybee colonies to the Hall's roof, producing honey sold at the Hall’s shop.

In collaboration with Bee Urban, a London-based organization that promotes urban beekeeping, the Hall raises awareness about the importance of bees in pollination. Educational initiatives, such as workshops and "Don’t Step on a Bee Day" events, highlight the significance of bees to the environment.

This project aligns with the Hall’s broader environmental goals, encouraging local wildlife and sustainable practices.
